Is Here.

I want to ask you:

When was the last time you took a moment to compliment someone on something that they’re struggling with? I am constantly struggling with something or another (um, derby, school work, drama work, balancing the neediness of my son with the neediness of my self always wanting to do more) and when someone says something nice or even notices that I’m trying, it makes me feel great.

I always like to compliment people when I see them trying. I am so happy to see people try their best, it takes a lot of courage. Bravery isn’t always a big act, remember?

And the world always needs another hero.

And not those idiotic people who drive their car fast and cut you off, but the ones chasing a dream, hunting it down and telling the world to watch them while they do it. Or the mama bears that are coping with sleep deprivation, financial indecisions and doing their best in raising their offspring. Setting examples that with enough thought and action, anything is possible.

If you find yourself doing something hard this week, please know that there’s someone (on the other side of town, Australia, the world, the universe) quietly saying thank-you for stretching out of your comfort zone.

The world needs another hero and you’re absolutely perfect for the role.

New News

{This song is one of my faves. Ever. If I could choose a genre of music to be, it would be trip hop, if this falls into trip hop}

Guess what?

I figured out my direction . I know what I’m working towards 🙂

I have a project, intention, determination, confidence and excitement for this new direction.

I absolutely cannot wait to share it with you, dear, dear, dear friends.

Once I have a name for it, I certainly will. In the mean time, luxuriate in 6 minutes and 25 seconds of laidback music….

New Look!

The joy of the internets – when you get sick of something, there’s always something new! and exciting! and FREE! SO a whole new wordpress theme. Soooo shiny!

This also means that I’ve lost all my links along the side bar, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. You know I have friends, yes? I have friends. They are fabulous and talented and when I want to share something amazing that they have done, I’ll send you to their fabulous work! In the mean time, feel free to bombard me with new things on the internets to get excited about!!!!

Talking about excitement, remember a while back I mentioned my monster, fear? I found this today:

(Belongs to this artist. Share the love! Oh, gorgeous blog, too!!!!)

and then I may have swooned!

Hope the weekend as been fabulous and that the week to come is special, too ❤

School Holidays

(For the Marsupially challenged, that is a Wombat in a Driza-bone)

These last two weeks have been school holidays.

Fun!

We have:

  • Gone on an epic play date with 12 children
  • Been to Uni
  • Had two sleepovers at Gran’s house
  • Gone to Australia Zoo
  • Visited friends on the Goldie
  • Gone to the circus
  • Attended a birthday party
  • Been Roller skating
  • Hung out with friends

It feels like catching a breath has been challenging! I am looking at the rug in the lounge, wondering exactly when it had time to change colour (We have a black rug. Two words: Never again)!

So holidays will wrap up on Tuesday and life resumes its (slightly) more regular pace. I can’t wait! Except for that Uni assignment…..
